GMentor is designed for minimal data exposure. This page explains what is collected, what is transmitted, and what is retained.
Account information: When you register, we collect your email address
(or Google account identifier) to create and manage your account.
Screen crop (user-initiated): When you press the hotkey and draw a rectangle, GMentor captures only that selected region of your screen. Nothing outside the box is captured.
Usage data: We track the number of daily analyses to enforce plan limits (5/day for Free, 50/day for Plus). We do not track what you analyze.

To GMentor servers: The image crop you selected is sent to our secure servers
along with a prompt needed to generate a response. Your request is authenticated using your
account credentials.
To the AI provider: Our servers forward the crop and prompt to an AI provider to generate the analysis. We do not share your email or account details with the AI provider.
Payment processing: If you subscribe to GMentor Plus, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. GMentor never sees or stores your card details.

The crop is processed in-memory and discarded once the AI response is generated.
